Indications/Uses
Relief of cough associated w/ acute & chronic bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis & emphysema.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Solmax Adult & childn >12 yr 1 cap tid. Solmax Forte Adult 5 mL(1 tsp) tid. Childn 5-12 yr 2.5 mL (½ tsp) tid to qid or 5 mL bid. Solmax Kids Childn 5-12 yr 5 mL (1 tsp) tid, 2-5 yr 2.5 mL (½ tsp) tid to qid or 5 mL bid.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Patients w/ history of gastric or duodenal ulcer. Pregnancy (1st trimester). Infants.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, headache, diarrhea, gastric discomfort, GI bleeding, skin rash.
Drug Interactions
Enhances absorption of Na amoxicillin. Impaired urinary elimination w/ cimetidine.
